Kelley Banks

Practice manager

Kelley has worked with Beaches Animal Clinic for over 21 years. She first started at Beaches Animal Clinic as a veterinary technician in 1988 working with Dr. Conrad Williams and Dr. Ted Puffinburger.  The US Navy relocated she and her husband in 1990 to Illinois where she continued her work in the veterinary field for a short time.  Later she received an opportunity for a management position at a local credit union which gave her vast experience with customer relations, lending, training, human resources and personnel management.  Missing the veterinary field and her “second family” at Beaches Animal Clinic, an opportunity to return to Jacksonville presented itself in 1995 where she promptly returned to the clinic as a veterinary technician for Dr. Daniel.   With both her veterinary experience and management experience, she was promoted to practice manager in 2001, where she feels she enjoys the best of both worlds, working with animals as well as personnel development/business growth.  She has always had a deep passion and understanding of animals since she was a young child, and can’t imagine working in any other profession.  She currently lives with her husband of 29 years, 2 Bengal cats and 2 parrots.  In her spare time she enjoys organic gardening, cooking and reading.
